Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

Native to the Midwest, producing unique foliage where the leaf pair just below the flower are joined/clasping around the stem. Subsequent leaf pairs can also be joined around the stem otherwise have short petioles. Both upper and lower leaf surfaces are covered in a waxy bloom that gives the plant a bluish-green cast. Flowers are yellow, blooming in spring, which are attractive to hummingbirds. Fruits are small (e.g. 1/4" diameter) that ripen bright red in fall. 2169801Ames 36273
