Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as

13NA 37516NA 37516Chimonanthus praecox (L.) Link NANot Available2021Cultivated materialFull name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Chimonanthus praecox. A single cutting noticed in the greenhouse that was rooted from NA 37516-J, which is noted in the record of the parent accession as having large, deep yellow flowers and large, dark center tepals, comparable to 'Grandiflorus' (all individuals in the parent accession are seedlings, and some have flowers differing in appearance from the rest). From the record of the parent accession, NA 37516: Seed from the Tbilisi Botanical Garden. Plants in the resulting mass show considerable variation in flower color and size; one (qualifier 'J') with large, deep yellow flowers and large, dark center tepals is comparable to 'Grandiflorus', which may be in the background of this seed; another (qualifier 'L') has very pale, cream-colored flowers of unremarkable size with a dark center, which may be the palest flowering plant of this species in the living collection at present (2017). The others are unremarkable intermediates, and will probably be removed.2144642NA 37516

18NA 60749Luteus GroupChimonanthus praecox (L.) Link NANot Available1988Cultivated materialFull name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Chimonanthus praecox Luteus Group. The two seedlings raised from this seed produced flowers that are pure yellow in color (lacking the red interior tepals of the typical species); their flowers are smaller than average, but have relatively broad, rounded tepals. One seedling produces strong yellow flowers while the other produces flowers with very pale yellow tepals. -SBL2146721NA 60749
