S16-7922C is resistant to southern root-knot nematode [Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood], peanut root-knot nematode [Meloidogyne arenaria (Neal) Chitwood], charcoal rot (Macrophomina phaseolina Tassi Goid), frogeye leaf spot (Cercospora sojina Hara), and stem canker (Diaporthe aspalathi Jansen, Castlebury & Crous), and moderately resistant to soybean cyst nematode (Heterodera glycines Ichinohe) and reniform nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis Linford & Oliveira). And it is tolerant to salinity and waterlogging stress. Plants of S16-7922C have an average height of 81.9 cm and lodging score of 2.2 with white flowers, tawny pubescence, and tan pod wall. Seeds of S16-7922C have imperfect black hilum, intermediate seed luster, 100 seed weight of of 14.0g. Seed protein and oil concentrations of S16-7922C are 403 and 226 g/kg on a dry weight basis, respectively.
