Foliage green in color and similar to Sunup. Nebraska trials, average grain yields were 2.5% higher than Sunrise and Huntsman, and 5% higher than Earlybird. Broadly adapted across the high Plains region, yielding well from South Dakota to Colorado and Wyoming. Earlier in maturity than Sunrise and Earlybird, and later than Dawn. Dawn is generally ready for harvest at least 1 week earlier than Horizon.
