In 2005 and 2006, it was yield tested in the northern soybean SCN Regional Trials of the U.S. Its SOS resistance was screened by planting on artificially SOS-infested soil sites, by evaluations in environments in Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota in 2007. In 2006 AR11SOS was resistant to SCN races 1, 3, 5 and 6 in Indiana in greenhouse screening. In Illinois greenhouse testing, 2006, this line was highly resistant to Race 3 and had low levels of resistance to Race 1. In plantings on calcareous soils in Iowa and Minnesota in 2006, AR11SOS has an iron deficiency chlorosis (IOC} score of 1.7 and 3.1 respectively. Seed composition analysis was conducted at by the USOA-ARS National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research, Peoria, Illinois in conjunction with the SCN Regional Trials in 2005 and 2006.
