(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)
This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as

| 0 | PI 693987 | 'SB255' | Hordeum vulgare L. | Virginia, United States | NLGRP | | Not Available | 2020 | DEVELOPED | | | | | | Cultivar | Barley cultivar SB255 is a high yielding, high test weight, medium tall, six-rowed winter feed barley with good winter hardiness. Juvenile plant growth of SB255 is erect, flag leaves are slightly waxy and upright at the booting stage, leaf sheaths and stems are slightly waxy and anthocyanin is not present in leaves or stems. The stems have four nodes, closed collars, “slightly curved” peduncles and an exertion of 0 to 3 cm above the base of the flag leaf blade. The six-rowed spikes of SB255 are erect, dense, strap, and slightly waxy with no overlapping lateral kernels. The rachis is covered with short hairs. Glumes are mid-long, with short hairs, and their awns are semi-smooth and less than equal to length of the glumes. The lemma awn surfaces are rough and awns are longer than the spike length. The basal marking of the lemma is a slight crease. Rachilla hairs are short. Kernels are covered and short with a colorless aleurone with hairs present on the ventral furrow. SB255 has winter growth habit; it requires vernalization and has sufficient low temperature tolerance for production in the areas tested. Head emergence of SB255 (114 d, Julian) is similar to the cultivar Thoroughbred. In Virginia, the 7 yr (2013-2019) average grain yield of SB255 was 5214 kg ha-1 and its average grain volume weight was 60.8 kg hl-1.
In field trials, reaction of SB255 to diseases (0=no disease to 9=severe infection) evaluated across diverse environments SB255 has expressed high resistant to leaf rust and powdery mildew and moderate resistant to net blotch (Pyrenophora teres f. teres Smedeg.). Additionally, in inoculated and mist-irrigated Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) field tests, comprised of replicated yield plots, SB255 has expressed moderate resistant to FHB and had low deoxynivalenol (DON) accumulation. | 2106631 | PI 693987 |
