Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

NC7MISCELLANEOUSNot Available2023DEVELOPED12/21/2023Breeding materialThis accession represents a population of induced tetraploids derived from Ames 32386, Ames 32388 and Ames 32389 (all Iowa sourced seed). These accessions were selected based on tolerance to high soil pH according to Hoch (unpublished thesis, 2018). Germinating seedlings of all three accessions were treated by placing a droplet of 5000uM trifluralin on the expanding meristems at the cotyledon stage. Putative tetraploids were identified based on stomata length (mean stomata length in diploids and tetraploids are 26.4 and 38.8 um, respectively). Approximately 22% of seedlings treated were tetraploid.2166241Ames 36238
