Glyphosate resistant for herbicide research. Population SV2 contains a single nucleotide polymorphism at amino acid position 106 in the 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate (EPSP) synthase gene, a mutation known to provide resistance to glyphosate in many weed species.
