Environment description: Open picnic/campground/park areas, flood plain, mesic forest.
Number of plants sampled: 11
Associated species: Acer saccharum subsp. nigrum, Carpinus caroliniana, Celtis occidentalis, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Juglans nigra, Populus deltoides, Tilia americana, Urtica dioica.
Comment: ~100 trees within a 0.75 mile stretch. Predominant in Bone Yard Hollow. Very heavy seed production.
