Locality: Along Davis Creek (starting at Peas Creek and heading north towards park boundary), Ledges State Park, W 1/2 of Section 16, Boone County.

Environment description: Mostly shaded; rock and limestone substrate. Species restricted to banks of creek.
Number of plants sampled: 8
Associated species: Acer saccharum subsp. nigrum, Carpinus caroliniana, Carya, Cornus alternifolia, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Juglans nigra, Quercus rubra, Staphylea trifolia, and Tilia americana.
Comment: ~75 trees within within a mile stretch of collection area. Slightly rare, but even distribution along creek bed. Some yellowish tones for fall color and others have already dropped majority of their leaves at time of collection.
