There was some type of mix up with the seed packets we got from the collector, or a mistake made by our station back in the early 1970's. Thus Eremopyrum triticeum is Brachypodium distachyon and the actual collection location for PI 317418 could have been Balkh, Grounds of old Mosque. Dry waste land, Afghanistan. 01 Aug 2009.
