Narrative
pistachio 3 rootstock terebinthus. Selection (0-A-1) from PI 80454. A variety producing small nuts with mostly light-colored shells. Seedling selection named Damghan. Seed selected by Dr. W. E. Whitehouse at Damghan, Iran. P. vera. Very vigorous tree and a large nut but has become a sparse producer. Nut somewhat difficult to roast. Kept as a potential breeding parent.
