Narrative
Fruit large-very large, turbinate, deep yellow with scattered russet, fruit yellowish-white, juicy, sweet.

Synonym - Notaire Lepin. Seedling of Doyenne du Comice produced about 1885, first fruited in 1894. PI 131486 from Pinguet-Guindon et fils, St. Symphorien (Indre-et-Loire) France to USDA 2/9/1939; received in Wooster, Ohio, in 1941. -- F.S. Howlett, Ohio Ag. Experiment Station, 1957.
