Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

California, United StatesRIVImage1938DEVELOPED07/1960Wild materialAn unarmed shrub with evergreen leaves and panicles of small white fragrant flowers and white berries. Said to be very hardy in dry places. Native to China. (from original PI record, link above)

Glycosmis pentaphll is described in [Swingle and Reece, 1967], pp 208-209.

The text of Swingle and Reece (1967) as well as very nice fotos are available from the UC Riverside Citrus Variety Collection. The statement of Swingle and Reece (1967) that "The species of Glycosmis are still very inadequately described and need study more urgently than those of any other genus of the orange subfamily" is updated by Brizicky (1961), Mitra and Subramanyam (1969), and Stone (1978, 1985, 1994). Apparently, seeds were collected during a trip tp Florida as there is no record of an official distribution in GRIN. The seedlings were disposed in 09/1995 with the comment "Not Glycosmis". There is no record in GRIN of any Glycosmis ever being maintained in Miami. Inactivated. (RR Krueger, 12/15/2011)1895467RRUT 495
