Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0PI 698107IA100RPSSorghum bicolor (L.) Moench Iowa, United StatesNLGRPNot Available2021DEVELOPEDThe sorghum male inbred lines IA100RPS is a restorer line developed to generate photoperiod sensitive high-yielding biomass hybrids. While this parental line will flower in temperate environments, the hybrids produced from its cross with most A-lines will not flower in Iowa or will flower very late without producing seed. IA100RPS is a purple plant with red grain, approximately 2.4m tall that flowers on average 70 days after planting. From 2015 to 2019, IA100RPS was evaluated in hybrid combinations with at least four of the following public maintainer lines: AKS99, ATx2928, AKS107, ATx2922 and AMP455. Hybrid yield trials were conducted in multiple locations in the state of Iowa. The dry matter yield per hectare, percentage of dry matter, total plant height and lodging tolerance were evaluated for the IA experimental hybrids and compared with Tx2910 and Tx2909 hybrids (public restorer male lanes with the same photoperiod sensitivity response in hybrid combinations). Hybrids generated with IA100RPS have significantly higher biomass yields than those derived from Tx2910 and Tx2909, with superior lodging resistance and higher dry matter content as consistently demonstrated by testing in multiple years and multiple locations.2113356PI 698107
