Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0PI 699898'Faraj'Triticum turgidum L. subsp. durum (Desf.) van Slageren Casablanca-Settat, MoroccoNLGRP2022DEVELOPEDCultivarThe line that led to the variety Faraj was included in the ICARDA's Durum Observation Nursery for Temperate Dryland Areas (DON TA) that was received by the Moroccan -program in 2002. Two replicates of this nursery were planted and evaluated in Jemaa-Shaim and in Marchouch experiment sites in Morocco during the 2002/03 season. Twenty one sister lines, corresponding to entries numbers 53 to 73, were identified as possessing resistance to Hessian fly, in addition to being resistant to one more of the important durum wheat diseases in Morocco (i.e. leaf rust, septoria, tan spot) as well as being tolerant to root rot. Three lines were pre-selected for possessing the best combination of desired multiple resistances and for good agronomic attributes. These entries were set to be included in the three seasons yield trial (2003/04, 2004/05, and 2005/06) of the Moroccan durum wheat breeding program. The yield trials are conducted in five experiment locations (Jemaa Shaim, Khemis Zemamra, Tassaout, Fes-Douyet, and Marchouch) that represent different agro-ecological zones for wheat in Morocco. The variety catalogue registration trials are run by the public office for variety registration of the "The National Office for Health Security of Food Products" (ONSSA). The procedure lasts for two seasons and consists of a test for distinctiveness, homogeneity and stability (OHS), and of an agronomic and technological value test (VAT). Among the three presented lines, the line to be named Faraj was accepted for registration in the official catalogue2133079PI 699898
