Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0PI 698546'CP 13-4100'Saccharum sp.Florida, United States Historic2021DEVELOPEDWhen CP13-4100 was planted at a sand soil at Townsire with other genotypes in December 2019 and sampled for morphological measurements on late August 2020, its mean stalk height of 10 stalks (ground level to top visible dewlap, dewlaps form the hinge of the blade joint in sugarcane) of CP 13-4100 was 270.3 cm. The mean internode length of CP 13-4100 stalks at the fifth internode from the ground was 18.6 cm. Stalk diameter of CP13-4100 was measured at the middle of the second (29.5 mm), fifth (26.6 mm), and tenth (26.5 mm) internodes from the ground as well as at the middle of the hardened internode closest to the top visible dewlap ( 22.0 mm). CP 13-4100 exhibited a cylindrical shaped internode and a growth ring with a mean width of 3.97 mm at the fifth node from the ground. The root band of CP 13-4100 was 5.03 mm wide. Bud furrows were absent. The buds of CP 13-4100 were greenish yellow color (2.5GY8/4) and had roundish shape with crawfish type wings at the fifth internode from the ground. The mean length and width of the bud at the fifth node from the bottom of CP 13-4100 were 7.04 and 6.57 mm, respectively. Leaf sheath pubescence was light and located down middle of the leaf sheath. CP 13-4100 had significantly higher cane yield (18.7% and 29.5%); sucrose yield (26.3% and 30.7%); and, economic index (10.9% and 16.9%) than CL 88-4730 and CPCL 97-2730, respectively, but no differences from CP 96-1252 in these traits. CP 13-4100 tested negative for the Bru1 marker, which is linked to a quantitative major locus of brown rust resistance. CP 13-4100 was resistant to orange rust, leaf scald, and smut, sugarcane mosaic virus, ratoon stunt, and had acceptable level of susceptible to brown rust. CP 13-4100 was released to the Florida growers for production use on mineral (sand) soils. 2115916PI 698546
