Merr. | Arkansas, United States | SOY | | Not Available | 2019 | DEVELOPED | | | | | | Breeding material | R 11-7999 is an f 4 single-plant selection from the cross of 5002T and R00-2097. The cross was made in the summer of 2007 at Fayetteville, AR. F1 plants were bulked and advanced from generations F2 to F4, using modified single-pod method in a winter nursery. Where, two to three pods were picked from approximately 1200 plants each generation and seed was bulked for planting for the next generation. F4:5 lines were evaluated in 3-m single progeny rows in Stuttgart, AR in 2011. Visual selection was made on basis of plant uniformity and overall field performance at maturity. R11-7999 was selected and bulked as a pure line for subsequent yield trials and seed composition assessment. | 2097052 | PI 691646 |
