Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0PI 664938'CPCL 95-2287'Saccharum sp.Florida, United StatesMIA2012DEVELOPEDCultivarThe stalk height (ground level to top visible dewlap, dewlaps form the hinge of the blade joint in sugarcane) of CPCL 95-2287 was 425 cm. The mean internode length of CPCL 95-2287 stalks at the fifth and tenth internodes from the ground was 18.7 cm. Stalk diameter was measured at the middle of the second (low), fifth and tenth (middle) internodes from the ground, as well as at the internode at the uppermost hardened (upper) internode on 10 stalks. The mean low, middle, and upper stalk diameters of CPCL 95-2287 were 30.7, 28.2, 25.8, and 19.4 mm, respectively. CPCL 95-2287 exhibited a bobbin shaped internode and a growth ring with a mean width of 5.3 mm at the fifth and tenth internodes from the ground. The root band of CPCL 95-2287 was 10.7 mm wide. CPCL 95-2287 internodes had no bud furrows. The buds of CPCL 95-2287 were a shade of yellow (2.5 Y 8/2). Buds of CPCL 95-2287 were raised above the surface of the root band, and their shape was round with central germ pore at the fifth and tenth internodes from the ground. The bud length and width means of the fifth and tenth buds from the bottom from 10 stalks of CPCL 95-2287 were 8.6 and 8.1 mm, respectively. CPCL 95-2287 did not exhibit pubescence on its buds. CPCL 95-2287 is resistant to smut (caused by Ustilago scitaminea (Sydow and P. Sydow), brown rust (caused by Puccinia melanocephala H. and P. Sydow), Sugarcane mosaic virus strain E (mosaic), and ratoon stunt (caused by Leifsonia xyli subsp. xyli Evtsuhenko et al.). It is moderately resistant to orange rust (caused by Puccinia kuehnii E.J. Butler) and leaf scald (caused by Xanthomonas albilineans Ashby, Dowson), and CPCL 95-2287 is susceptible to Sugarcane yellow leaf virus. In addition, CPCL 95-2287 tested negative for the presence of the Bru1 gene which confers resistance to brown rust, suggesting that its resistance to brown rust is through some other means.1899747PI 664938
