Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0GSHO 1394mul2.bHordeum vulgare L. subsp. vulgare Ontario, CanadaNSGCKERNELS1994DEVELOPEDGenetic materialSpikelets may have supernumerary florets and occasionally nodal branches appear at random on the spike. The character shows variable expression in some crosses, and is seen in only a few spikes of affected F2 plants. The trait isolated in the Bowman backcross-derived line is expressed in six-rowed progeny as a malformed rachilla in some lateral spikelets. The rachilla malformation is most pronounced in the middle of the spike and ranges from formation of a fertile floret to slight elongation of the rachilla. However, confirmation that this trait is the same gene as in the original stock has not been completed. Inheritance: Monofactorial recessive. Located in chromosome 6HL, about 24.2 cM distal from the rob (orange lemma) locus. Previous nomenclature and gene symbolization: Multiflorous 2=mlt2. The change to mul2 was recommended by Robertson. Mutatioinal events: mul2.b in Montcalm (Alb Acc 299, GBC326). Mutant used for description and seed stocks: mul2.b in Montcalm (GSHO 1394); mul2.b plus vrs1.a in Bowman (PI 483237)*6 (GSHO 2089).1514275GSHO 1394
