Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0PI 698810Kronos-Wapo-A1bTriticum turgidum L. subsp. durum (Desf.) van Slageren California, United StatesNSGCKERNELS2021DEVELOPEDGenetic materialWild type Kronos is a high yielding durum wheat line with a spring growth habit and excellent pasta quality. It carries the Wapo-A1a allele (= Haplotype 1) characterized by a 115-bp deletion in the promoter and the amino acid polymorphism D384N. Kuzay et al. (2019) demonstrated that the H2 haplotype was associated with a higher number of spikelets per spike than the H1 aplotype in multiple populations. A 2021 field study including BC3F3 sister linesfor the H2 and H1 haplotypes showed that H2 was associated with a 17.6% (P < 0.001) increase in spikelet number per spike and a 6.1% increase (P = 0.046) in the number of grains per spike. The apo-A1b allele (H2 haplotype) is very rare in modern durum wheats, so this germplasm is particularly useful to introgress the Wapo-A1b allele in durum breeding programs. The H2 haplotype is present at high frequency in some modern common wheat breeding programs.2116450PI 698810
