Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.
(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)
This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.
The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

| 0 | GSHO 701 | Rpg1.a | Hordeum vulgare L. subsp. vulgare | Wisconsin, United States | NSGC | | | 1994 | DEVELOPED | | | | | | Genetic material | The dominant allele at the Rpg1 locus confers moderate resistance to most races of Puccinia graminis f sp tritici. Lesion size and percent stem and leaf sheath infection in adult plants is reduced compared with susceptible plants under field conditions. At high temperatures (greater than 20 degrees C), differentiation of seedling reaction types is observed with race 56 (10). These differences correlate with adult plant reactions better than at lower temperatures. Differences among cultivars indicate that a modifier of the Rpg1.e allele exists. Plants with Rpg1 gene show a susceptible reaction to pathotype QCC of Puccinia graminis f sp tritici and to Puccinia graminis f sp secalis. Molecular markers closely linked to the three different sources of the Rpg1 region gene suggest that they originated independently. Synteny of the Rpg1 region of chromosome 5HS to the short arm or rice chromosome 6 was demonstrated. Inheritance: Monofactorial dominant. Located in chromosome 7HS [1S], about 13.2 cM distal to the brh1 (brachytic 1) locus, about 9.2 cM distal from the Run1 (reaction to Ustilago nuda 1) locus, about 1.4 cM distal from the Run1 locus, and 0.7 cM from RFLP marker ABG077. Previous nomenclature and gene symbolization: Resistance to Puccinia graminis tritici=T. Resistance to Puccinia graminis Pers f sp tritici Eriks and E Henn. = Rpg1a. Mutational events: Rpg1.a in Chevron; Rpg1.e in Peatland, Rpg1.f in Kindred. Mutant used for description and seed stocks: Rpg1.a in Chevron (GSHO 701); Rpg1.a in 80-TT-29 (CIho 16129); Rpg1.e from Peatland in Bowman (PI 483237). | 1514437 | GSHO 701 |
