Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.
(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)
This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.
The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

| 0 | GSHO 227 | trd1.b | Hordeum vulgare L. subsp. vulgare | Colorado, United States | NSGC | | | 1994 | DONATED | 05/1994 | | | | | Genetic material | The characteristic trait of this mutant is the presence of a bract, third outer glume, outside the two empty glumes of the central spikelet. The bract associated with the lowest spikelet is always the largest, embracing in some cases about one-half the spike, and the bracts become progressively smaller toward the tip of the spike. Basal rachis internodes may be elongated. Allelism tests were not conducted for the first three trd mutants reported, but the linkage value between the trd and Blp loci was similar in all three studies. Takahashi et al. assumed that they used the same material studied by Miyake and Imai. Inheritance: Monofactorial recessive. Located in chromosome 1HL [5L], about 16.0 cM distal from the Blp (black lemma and pericarp) locus, and about 11.c cM proximal from the eam8 (early maturity 8) locus. Previous nomenclature and gene symbolization: Third glume=t. Bracteate. Bracteatum-c=bra-c. Mutational events: trd1.a in Hordeum vulgare var afghanicum; trd1.b in Valki (CIho 5478); trd1.c in a Japanese cultivar; trd1.d (Mut 1969/61) in Proctor (PI 280420); bra-c.1 in Bonus (PI 189763); bra-c.2, -c.3, -c.4, -c.5 in Bonus, -c.6 in Foma (CIho 11333), -c.8 in Kristina. Mutant used for description and seed stocks: trd1.b in Valki (GSHO 227); bra-c.1 in Bonus (GSHO 1695); trd1.b from Wolfe's Chromosome 5 Marker Stock in Bowman (PI 483237)*7 (GSHO 2060); bra-c.1 in Bowman*4 (GSHO 2061). | 1510754 | GSHO 227 |
