Early maturing, ripening at the same time as Alaska and 10-14 days earlier than Banner and Victory. The straw is about 4 inches shorter than that of Banner and somewhat finer and more whip-like. Generally, it is some- what stronger than that of Banner, though lodging is common under adverse soil and climatic conditions.
