Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

Propagation material from Skip's home garden; he had gotten it from the USNA years ago. Its original accession is uncertain but based on his recollection, it is likely to be from either NA 45106 or 25117.2153078NA 82846

17NA 82852(seedling selection)Fatsia japonica (Thunb.) Decne. & Planch. NANot Available2009Cultivated materialFull name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Fatsia japonica (seedling selection). Cuttings from single clone with particularly glossy, wavy-edged leaves and narrow lobes, formerly recorded as NA 45106*X; Carole Bordelon is certain that this plant is not part of that accession, and was instead one of the plants from the USBG in 1998 that was reassigned to the wrong number later. It should actually be one of the following previous USNA accessions, for which distinguishing characteristics were not recorded upon arrival: NA 69366, 69367, 69368 or 69369. These came as clonal propagations of USBG accession numbers 92-0224, 92-0225, 92-0225, and 92-0226, respectively.2153084NA 82852
18NA 82853(seedling selection)Fatsia japonica (Thunb.) Decne. & Planch. NANot Available1998Cultivated materialFull name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Fatsia japonica (seedling selection). Single seedling with moderate speckled variegation that persists in winter, similar to 'Spider's Web' but not as pronounced. Formerly recorded as NA 45106*J in error; Carole Bordelon is certain that this plant is not part of that accession, and was instead one of the plants from the USBG in 1998 that was reassigned to the wrong number later. It should actually be one of the following previous USNA accessions, for which distinguishing characteristics were not recorded upon arrival. Both NA 69366 (USBG 92-0224C) and NA 69369 (USBG 92-0226C) were received as single individual seedlings, while NA 69367 (one plant) and 69368 (three plants) represented the original USBG 92-0225C seedling and three cuttings grown from that same seedling.2153085NA 82853
19NA 82854(seedling selection)Fatsia japonica (Thunb.) Decne. & Planch. NANot Available1998Cultivated materialFull name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Fatsia japonica (seedling selection). Single seedling with slight speckled variegation on new growth that disappears by winter, similar to 'Spider's Web' but not as pronounced or lasting. Formerly recorded as NA 45106*H, P, T, and V in error; Carole Bordelon is certain that these plants are not part of that accession, and were instead among of the plants from the USBG in 1998 and were reassigned to the wrong number later. This accession should actually be comprised of two out of four older USNA accessions, for which distinguishing characteristics were not recorded upon arrival. Both NA 69366 (USBG 92-0224C) and NA 69369 (USBG 92-0226C) were received as single individual seedlings, while NA 69367 (one plant) and 69368 (three plants) represented the original USBG 92-0225C seedling and three cuttings grown from that same seedling. Four of the plants remaining seem to be similar to one another in terms of having variable variegated new growth that later disappears, so they are presumed to have been these plants. It is no longer possible to distinguish the original seedling NA 69367 from the clones of NA 69368 based on size or any other feature.2153086NA 82854
