Sinaloan Deciduous Forest with Montanoa rosei, Jatropha cordata, Guazuma ulmifolia, Lysiloma microphylla, Haematoxylum brasiletto.
Wild material
Irregular, spreading tree with distinctive bark. Pods littering the ground beneath the tree. Freeze damage likely below 26 F. M. Johnson 89-035. Synonym: Pithecellobium leucospermum.
