Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0PI 668535PR0633-10Phaseolus vulgaris L. Puerto Rico, United StatesW62013DEVELOPEDPRE 2013Breeding materialPR0633-10 is a multiple virus resistant bean germplasm line adapted to the humid tropics. PR0737-1 did not develop mosaic or hypersensitive reactions to inoculation with BCMNV strain NL3, providing support that the line carries the recessive allele at the bc-3 locus, which confers resistance to BCMV and BCMNV. The presence of the I gene in PR0633-10 was confirmed using the SW13 SCAR marker. PR0633-10 carries the SAP6 SCAR marker for CBB resistance. When inoculated in the greenhouse with the Xap strains 3353 and 484A, PR0633-10 had mean leaf scores of 2.5 and 1.0, respectively, at 14 days after inoculation, respectively, based on the 1-9 CIAT scale (CIAT, 1987). PR0633-10 produced a mean seed yield of 1104 kg ha-1 in performance trials conducted in Puerto Rico, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The red mottled check cultivars `PC-50? and `JB-178? produced mean seed yields of 1012 and 961 kg ha-1, respectively. The seed yield of PR0633-10 was similar to the red mottled breeding line PR9745-232 (1112 kg ha-1). Both PR0633-10 had a near average response to productivity with linear regression slopes near 1.0. PR0633-10 had a coefficient of determination > 0.9 whereas the coefficients of determination of the determinate check cultivars, JB-178 and PC-50 were 0.73 and 0.56, respectively. Therefore, PR0633-10 tended to have a more predictable performance than the check cultivars. PR0633-10 has an indeterminate, Type III growth habit. The line flowers approximately 39 d and matures 67 d after planting. PR0633-10 has a mean seed weight of 37.6 g 100 seed-1 and a red mottled seed coat color that is commercially acceptable in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.1912288PI 668535

Puerto Rico, United StatesW62013DEVELOPEDPRE 2013Breeding materialPR0737-1 is multiple virus resistant red mottled bean germplasm line adapted to the humid tropics. PR0737-1 has the bgm-1 gene for resistance to BGYMV. The presence of the bgm-1 allele was confirmed using the SR2 SCAR marker. PR0737-1 did not develop mosaic or hypersensitive reactions to inoculation with BCMNV strain NL3, providing support that the line carries the recessive allele at the bc-3 locus, which confers resistance to BCMV and BCMNV. PR0737-1 produced a mean seed yield of 1170 kg ha-1 in the performance trials conducted in Puerto Rico, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The red mottled check cultivars `PC-50? and `JB-178? produced mean seed yields of 1012 and 961 kg ha-1, respectively. The seed yield of PR0737-1 was similar to the red mottled breeding line PR9745-232 (1112 kg ha-1). PR0737-1 had a near average response to productivity with linear regression slopes near 1.0. Therefore, PR0737-1 tended to have a more predictable performance than the check. PR0737-1 has an indeterminate, upright, Type II growth habit. The line flowers approximately 38 d and matures 67 d after planting. PR0737-1 has a commercially acceptable red mottled seed with a mean seed weight of 39.9 g 100 seed-1.1912289PI 668536
