Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0PI 665228'Bearpaw'Triticum aestivum L. subsp. aestivum Montana, United StatesPVPONot Available2012DEVELOPED2011CultivarBearpaw is an awned, white-glumed, solid-stem, semi-dwarf hard red winter wheat. Bearpaw has medium maturity, 170 d heading from 1 January. Bearpaw is semi-dwarf (Rht-B1b), and medium-short (81cm, n=69). Bearpaw is solid-stemmed, averaging 21.8 on the 5 (hollow) to 25 (solid) stem solidness scale. Cutting by wheat stem sawfly of Bearpaw (9%, n=11) is intermediate to Genou (20%) and Rampart (6%). In 69 LY of testing in the Montana average yield of Bearpaw (4206 kg ha-1) was high, 9% and 10% higher, respectively, than predominantly grown solid-stem cultivars Genou and Rampart. Volume weight of Bearpaw (772 kg m-3) was similar to other cultivars. Grain protein content of Bearpaw is lower than Rampart but similar to Genou and CDC Falcon. Bearpaw is resistant to wheat stem sawfly (Cephas cinctus), and susceptible to Russian wheat aphid (Diuraphis noxia) and Hessian fly (Mayetiola destructor). Bearpaw is resistant to prevalent races of stem rust (Puccinia graminis) and UG99 (Sr36) based on field and seedling evaluations. Bearpaw is susceptible to leaf rust (P. triticina) and stripe rust (P. striiformis). Based on DNA marker analysis of the 2010 NRPN, Bearpaw carries diagnostic markers for AL-4DL, Sr2, and Rht-B1b. Bearpaw is a hard red winter wheat with high PPO, intermediate flour yield and flour protein content, medium dough strength and water absorption, and loaf volume similar to CDC Falcon.1901745PI 665228
