Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

Iowa, United StatesNC72015COLLECTED09/04/2015Private property approximately 7 miles northwest of Cedar Falls, T90N R14W SW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 Sec. 18.42.60398800, -92.54284800284High-quality remnant wetland/fenWild materialSpecimens sampled averaged approximately 278 cm in height, ranging from 250 cm to 330 cm. Female catkins were both green and brown at time of harvest. Little to no fall color at time of seed collection (4 Sept. 2015) with approximately 75% of leaves already dropped. During growout in 2016, samples #699-3 and #699-5 resulted in seedlings that have petiolules (on small seedlings) that average 3-5 mm in length with the leaf apex being rather sharply acute, possibly indicating presence of hybrids. Other samples (#699-1, #699-2, #699-6, and #699-7) seem to exhibit characteristics of B. pumila with densely pubescent leaves and stems, with leaves having the apex usually broadly acute or obtuse to rounded, and essentially leaves being sessile or less than 1mm in length. 1927397Ames 32955
