Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0PI 659322CO03765Triticum aestivum L. subsp. aestivum Colorado, United StatesNSGCImage2010DEVELOPEDGenetic materialWheat-rye addition lines carrying resistance to the biotypes 1 and biotype 2 of Russian Wheat Aphid (RWA). Resistance was derived from PI 386148 Russian triticale, backcrossed five times into the background of Lamar wheat (PI 559719). The progenies were tested for RWA reaction for at least eight generations. These six lines from these selections were identified for their resistance to the RWA and their seeds were increased for agronomic and other characterizations. CO03752, CO03758, CO03761, and CO03765 are cytologically stable and carry a pair of rye (Secale strictum C. Presl) chromosomes as disomic addition lines of 1R. CO03764 carries 42 wheat chromosomes and two heteromorphic 1R chromosome products. CO03754 is cytologically unstable and shows a moderate level of mixoploidy with monosomic additions of 1R. One rye chromosomes, 1R from the donor species contains genes for RWA resistance. [See PI 659317-659322 for accessions from the same J Pl Regis citation.]1835023PI 659322
1PI 643399STARS 0601WTriticum aestivum L. subsp. aestivum Oklahoma, United StatesNSGCKERNELS2006DEVELOPEDBreeding materialHard red winter wheat with resistance to biotypes 1 and 2 of the Russian wheat aphid (RWA), Diuraphis noxia. Seedling reaction to RWA feeding was characterized as resistant (score of 2) on a scale of 1 to 9 (where 1=no damage to 9=dead plant) in greenhouse tests. The source of RWA resistance (94M81) in this germplasm is derived from the line 93M45-14, reported to carry a 1BL.1RS wheat-rye translocation developed through an intergeneric transfer from 'Turkey 77' rye (Secale cereale) to Veery common wheat. RWA resistance is conferred by the Dn7 resistance gene carried on the 1BL.1RS translocation. Has agronomic and end-use characteristics similar to 'Custer' hard red winter wheat.1709452PI 643399

Awned, white-chaffed, semidwarf, similar to Yuma in all respects except that it is resistant to RWA and is slightly taller. Contains essentially 100% RWA-resistant plants.1566807PI 605388
