(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as

0PI 631078'SIERRA'Cicer arietinum L. Washington, United StatesPVPOFLOWERNot Available2002DEVELOPEDPRE 05/02/2002CultivarDwelley is a unifoliate Kabuli type cv. that was developed for resistance to ascochyta blight. FLIP85-58 is an ascochyta blight resistant germplasm line provided by ICARDA, Aleppo, Syria. Spanish White is a white seeded cv. with exceptionally large seed size and a preferred type in Spain. Progenies from the cross were advanced by the pedigree method to the F8 with selection for seed size and color in each generation. Ascochyta blight resistance was assessed in the disease nursery that was established at the Washington State University Spillman Research Farm located near Pullman, WA. Evaluations for ascochyta blight resistance were made in the F3, F5 and F7 in 1994, 1995, and 1996, respectively. In the final year of screening, disease scores indicated improved resistance to ascochyta blight when compared to earlier released cvs. Sanford and Dwelley. The improved resistance to ascochyta blight was the primary reason for release.1636014PI 631078

8PI 619100'EVANS'Cicer arietinum L. Washington, United StatesW6FLOWER1993DEVELOPEDPRE 1993CultivarLarge seeded ascochyta blight resistant kabuli line. Unifoliate leaf structure, similar to Sanford and Dwelley, that differs from the fern leaf structure that is typical of UC-5, UC-27 and Spanish White. Plants are branched at the base and have an indeterminate flowering habit. Pods are rhomboid-illipsoid and have glandular trichomes, which give them a pubescent appearance. Pods have one and often two seeds. Seeds average 46.1 g/100 seeds, which compares to 42.4 grams for Sanford and 49.1 grams for Dwelley. Flowers and matures 2-3 days earlier than Surutato-77 and Tammany and 5-7 days earlier than Sanford and Dwelley. Early flowering and early maturing are primary reasons for release. The medium-large light-cream-colored seeds are suited to the domestic canning industry and are readily accepted in international markets.1060612PI 619100
