Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649
PI 651650
When searching a range of accessions, use the Advanced Search tab with the Accession Identifier Range criterion.

The more information you provide, the better the search will be.

0PI 676269'vrn-2'Triticum aestivum L. subsp. aestivum California, United StatesNSGCKERNELS2016DEVELOPEDGenetic materialThe tetraploid wheat plant #521 homozygous vrn-Am2 (non-functional) and vrn-B2 (deleted) published before (Distelfeld et al., 2009, Plant Physiology 149:245–257) was crossed with the tetraploid wheat line Kronos (VrnA1 vrnB1, vrnA2 VrnB2). The F1 hybrid was self-pollinated and the F2 plant #3089, homozygous for the vrn-B2 deletion was selected. This plant was then crossed with Ae. tauschii E1(source of the non-functional vrn-D2). Chromosome doubling occurred by natural meiotic restitution and was confirmed cytogenetically (2n=42). This synthetic wheat with no functional VRN2 homoeologs (vrn2-null) was then crossed with the winter line Goodstreak to produce a segregating population. Using molecular markers we selected F2 and F3 plants homozygous vrn-A1 (winter allele), vrn-B2 (spring allele) and vrn-D2 (spring allele). The seeds deposited here are F4 seeds from selected F3 plants. This plant has no functional VRN2 homoeologs, and alleles for winter growth habit for all VRN1 homoeologs. The plant has a spring growth habit due to VRN2. 1937578PI 676269
