Select the tab for the type of search. Each tab has everything you need to do to perform that type of search.

(Results of more than 500 will not return images.)

This search will show only accessions that have material that may be requested, including those not seasonally available.
You may list accessions with separators (commas or semicolons, as shown below) or by entering them on separate lines, such as
PI 651794
PI 651649

316PI 280096Hybrid 18Cucumis sativus L. var. sativus UkraineNC7FRUIT1962COLLECTEDPRE 04/05/1962CultivarKustovoj means bush-type. Most plants very thick leaved, monoecious, determinate, dwarf; very poor fruit yield. Branchless with very short or no laterals. Not resistant to angular leafspot. Does not correpsond to description in article of release: Agrobiologia 4:622-623, 1960. Translation: There was developed on Stalin's Experiment Station for vegetable crops and potatoes a new original bush form of cucumber, Hybrid No. 18. Growth of this hybrid up to the fruiting stage has vertical expansion of the main sprout, without growing points on the side branches. This main sprout is about 15 mm thick. Leaves are very large, sessile or with short petioles, 10-15 mm. Carolla of male and female flowers up to 50 mm. Main stalk, under heavy load of fruits during the period of mass-production, lies on soil. During this time the internodes are developing as well as petioles of leaves that reach 25-40 mm. Cylindric large green fruit has large terulose surface and compound black hairs. Fruit color dark green or slightly yellowish with white longitudinal stripes to middle of fruits. Plants reach 40-60 cm at end of season. Seed-bearing fruit is dark with reticulate net. Hybrid fruits late ripening, small yields. Pickling qualities similar to 'Nexhinski 12', but less yield.1208641PI 280096
