Observations from from the summer of 2017, by David Brenner. Most of the images were taken by Sam Flomo. The millet field was direct seeded in field W-5 May 9, 2017 (rows 1001 to 1165) and May 12 (rows 1166 to 1220). The stand counts are rough estimates taken on Aug 4 after the plants had grown together. The rows were 10 ft long.
