Garlic cloves from NPGS accessions were planted at the National Germplasm Repository for Clonal Vegetables Farm at the Langfang Experimental Station, Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Beijing, China in field plots, one accession per plot of 4.5 sq meters with 20 cm between rows and 15 cm between plants, planted in October 2015 and harvested August 2016. The following data was collected from 10 plants per accession right before and after harvest depending on the traits: plant height (cm)(from ground level to natural top of the leaf canopy), plant width (cm) (natural width at widest point in plant canopy), above ground pseudo-stem height (cm) and diameter (mm), number of leaves per plant, leaf length (taken from longest leaf)(cm), leaf width (taken from same leaf used for length)(cm), bulb height (mm), bulb width (mm), bulb weight(g), and number of cloves per bulb.

Note: Leaf width data converted to mm to conform to GRIN-Global descriptor. Bulb Height and Diameter data converted to cm to conform to GRIN-Global descriptor.
