In 1994 the Sugarbeet collection was transferred form Ames, Iowa (NC7) to Pullman, Washington (W6). The Beta curator Alan Hodgdon at that time wanted to put part of the seed in colder storage than 4C, So I made another inventory record and added a 'r' to the inventory suffix. Example: 93r is split from 93i, it is the same inventory except in colder storage.
