Biennial and annual Melilotus grown for seed increase at the NCRPIS in Ames, IA. Started in germination boxes on October 6, 2005. Flowering was delayed by cutting back the plants and keeping them cool at 4 degrees C., in short daylengths. Transplanted into the field on April 14, 2006.
