Reaction to Dwarf Bunt (TCK) in wheat. Green Canyon, Utah (near Logan). Planted October 7, 2005. Inoculated on October 26 with an aqueous suspension of teliospores representing a composite of pathogenic races from throughout the Pacific Northwest. Stands were good in the fall, but variable warm and cold winter weather with intermittent snow cover reduced stands considerably by spring. Susceptible check 'Cheyenne' averaged 54% infection.
