CLOVER.S9.POWDERY.MILDEW.2006

Evaluation location: Georgia, United States
Subterranean clover (Trifolium subterraneum L. and T. subterranean subsp. brachycalycinum L.) accessions originating from the Mediterranean area were evaluated in the greenhouse for powdery mildew (Erysiphe polygoni (DC.)) resistance in 2000 and 2002. Sixty-six accessions from Australia, France, Greece, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, and the United States were highly resistant to powdery mildew. The evaluation of subterranean clover for resistance to powdery mildew was a randomized complete block with three replications.
