Reaction to Dwarf Bunt (TCK) in wheat. Green Canyon, Utah. Planted October 5, 2001 into dry soil. Inoculated with a water suspension of teliospores on November 8 in wet soil. This was followed by a wet and snowy November, and snow covered the plots from late November to late February. Conditions during the winter were ideal for late emergence and infection resulting in extreme disease pressure and high levels of infection. Rated August, 2002.
