Hybrid '894' had a Red SF Weevil emergence rating = 30.6% (average of 7 plots). Wild accession evaluations are made on the percentage of seed damaged by the RSSW relative to the test average. Wild sunflower are harvested prior to physiological maturity to ensure collection of seed.
