Comment:
Fusarium head blight (Fusarium graminearum, Fusarium spp.; fungal) causes extensive blighting of flower buds and seed heads. Fusarium spp. that cause FHB can produce mycotoxins including deoxynivalenol (DON), nivalenol (NIV), T-2, and zearalenone (ZEA). FHB is common on wheat, cereal grains, and gramineous weeds and can be most severe in hemp crops adjacent to or following wheat and corn production. Disease is prevalent on grain hemp but has also been confirmed in floral hemp.
