Definition:

MP3 (More Protein, More peas, More Profit) is a genetic diversity panel was selected from the USDA pea plant genetic resource collection based on yellow cotyledon and round seed surface. First selections were from the pea PSP collection, 212 accessions (Cheng et al., 2015). Second selections were 226 accessions highest seed protein concentration, reported from a two-year pea field study of 876 accessions (Jermyn & Slinkard, 1977). This subset has been sequenced using GBS single enzyme of Elshire et al (2011).
