Contains characteristic/evaluationdata on differential host sets. Differential sets are used by plant pathologists to identify and distinguish different species of a pathogen and/or races within a species. A differential set can be made up of varieties from within one or several plant species that are hosts to the pathogen. For more information on the use of differential sets please see the Collaboration for Plant Pathogen Strain Identification (CPPSI) webpage. For additional information on the data and requesting host sets contact Stephanie Greene, USDA,ARS, National Laboratory for Genetic Resources Preservation (NLGRP), 1111 South Mason Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521-4500.
