Locality: Spring Hill Prairie located 3.0 miles south, southwest of St. Anthony just west of Binford Avenue between 180th and 190th, T84N R20W NW 1/4 SE 1/4 Sec. 18.

Environment description: Rolling prairie. Previously a heavily grazed livestock pasture.
Number of plants sampled: 2
Associated species: Baptisia bracteata, Zizia aurea, Schizachyrium scoparium, Veronicastrum virginicum, Oxalis sp., Viola sp., and Silphium laciniatum.
Comment: Sampled two genotypes separated by approximately a quarter of a mile. One genotype consisted of hunrdreds to close to a thousand stems covering a 30 x 30 yard area and the other genotype consisteng of approximately 25 stems encompassing a 5 x 5 yard area.
