Locality: Shellrock Wildlife Management Area approximately 10.4 miles northeast of Mason City, T98N R19W NW ¼ NW ¼ Sec. 29.

Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Very localized spring fed fen, sited ca. one meter higher than the surrounding topography within remnant prairie.
Number of plants sampled: 30
Associated species: Pycnanthemum virginianum, Carex spp., Eupatorium maculatum, Lythrum salicaria, Campanula aparinoides, Achillea millifolium, Typha latifolia, Helianthus grosseserratus, and Cornus sericea.
Comment: Also sampled 26 July 2023. Collection assisted by Joshua Peters, Jacob Letmanski, Kaden Kuntz, and Adelia Kroupa. Very localized population within the prairie (15 meters diameter) circa 65 meters south of the parking area.
