Narrative
Full name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Euphorbia lomelii. Received from a volunteer that works in Fern Valley Native Plant Collection, who obtained it from an Arizona botanical garden. Received as Pedilanthus macrostachys, an apparent error for Pedilanthus macrocarpus, now Euphorbia lomelii. An online search revealed that Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden cultivates this plant, so they are a possible prior source. -SBL
