Full name as recorded at U.S. National Arboretum: Tsuga chinensis var. oblongisquamata. From cuttings of seedling individual 69956-004; propagation date unknown, but rooted before Feb. 2021. See also NA 69956.02 and 69956.03 for cuttings propagated from seedling individuals 69956-005 and 69956-006, respectively, likely rooted at the same time. Probably propagated at the same time as a number of other T. chinensis recorded together in the WLPGR polyhouse.
