Environment description: Rich evergreen and deciduous Bayhead Community. Extensive Quercus arkansana along the bluff top to mid-slope, with Magnolia ashei in steephead bottom to lower half of slope. Cornus at toe of slope on the first bench, off bottom.

Associated species: Ilex opaca; Illicium floridanum; Magnolia ashei; Magnolia virginiana; Oxydendrum arboreum; Sabal palmetto
Comment: Description: Single-trunked tree, 12 feet in height. Frequency: scattered. Seed collected from a single tree with clean foliage, exhibiting no signs of anthracnose.
