Comment: Tree; height 10 ft; DBH ca 4 cm; bark reddish brown to gray, smooth; leaves ovate to widely elliptic (base cuneate, apex acute to acuminate), margins serrulate to erose, abaxially sparsely pubescent, primary veins in 5 to 7 pairs; flowers not present; capsules tan. Seeds collected from 2 plants. Four herbarium specimens collected; photographed. DNA sample collection number: DENG8293.
